Blake rested comfortably last night with the help of MORE medication.
Chest x-ray from this morning showed about the same as yesterday. Fluid in and around his lungs. Just playing the waiting game, trying to get the fluid off him. Today they are reducing the fluids in to limit the amount they need to get out. The heavy fluids are needed to go along with the Chemo, so hopefully when he gets his last dose of Chemo tomorrow (has it been 10 days already?) they can reduce the fluids more and pump him up with more meds to get the fluids off.
Chemo continues to reduce the white blood cells and blast cells, which is a big positive. Even with his current health issues, the doctors are happy with the progress in the treating of his Leukemia.
Thank you to all our family, friends and well wishers and thank you for the thoughts and prayers, it is making our journey in this ordeal more bearable and has given him strength and support he needs to make it through this. Thank you for the posts you continue to make.
