Just got the report from Blake's morning x-ray. His lungs have gotten a little better. With this, the new PICU attending doctor has taken Blakes breathing from him and completely turned it over to the ventilator. They have also taken him off the morphine and put him on something stronger to make him continusiouly sleep. They have also added another piece of equipment to the ventilator to measure his Co2 output so they don't have to draw quite as much blood. Witht he new settings, they can give his lungs the rest they need and hopefully help hem to remove he fluid off them naturally. if not, they have to put in a chest tube and that raises the risk of infection. He's peeing like a race horse so that should help his body naturally remove the fluid.

He still has no pain and is extremely comfortable...
