Here we are... day 10... Blake had his last round of Chemo this morning... We cannot believe it has been 10 days already, and it's really hard to believe we have been in this hospital 2 weeks today. It seems like only yesterday that Tammy and I were getting married.

Well, enough about us... Blake is still resting comfortably. They were able to get a liter of fluid off him last night. The fluids going in were very important with the Chemo, but now that he's done, they can work more at getting more fluid off him and getting him better.

The rash actually looks better today, less purple and more like a good tan. The tape that holds his breathing tube in came loose last night. The nurse was right there when it happened. Respiratory technician came in and fixed it... Good thing about that, they were able to move the tube to the other side of his mouth (And brush the funky teeth that have been under the tube for over a week.

The ventilator is doing yet more work for him because his lungs need the help. Thats what happens when there's fluid in and around them. As the fluid comes off, and his white blood count increases back up to normal, his lungs should quickly improve.
