Much has happened this week, including the loss of 2 the main website server. This issue will be cleared up pronto...

Now, for Blake, He had his central (Hickman) line installed in his chest to receive his medication. The tube was removed from his leg once this was done. Last night, he was taken out of PICU and moved into a room on the floor. He still cannot keep anything on his stomach, although he has been trying to eat more. (Crackers and such)

His stay out of PICU may be short if his Potassium level doesn't go up. For some reason it is low, and he'll have to be put back on the Heart Monitor in PICU if it stays low.

He is in fairly good spirits, given the circumstances. He just wants to be home, and every day seems to be in the right direction.

I'll post more tonight when I get more time.
We would like to thank everyone who has donated to the Blake Wayland Leukemia Fund through this website, and those who participated in the sanctioned fundraisers
