First off, let me say... Blakes white counts are continuing to rise. The have provided us with an oral Chemo to help keep them down, but they are afraid to drop them too low because of the fungal infection in his lungs.

Child Life at the hospital has been wonderful, and they have done so much for us... recently, they have hooked us up with a great bunch of people that have way too many deer on their property that are causing tremendous damage. So Blake has been able to go out deer hunting, even though it is off season. He has yet to see a dear, but he has enjoyed every minute of it, and cannot decide what he liked more, the hunting or driving the 4-wheeler out and back.

Tonight, Kanawha Youth Football and Cheerleading Association(Spearheaded by Leslie Rhea and countless other people) held a dance to support Blake and the Blake Wayland Leukemia Fund. The night was truly wonderful, and many wonderful people showed up and made a memorable time for all. We cannot begin to express our true appreciation to Leslie, Kanawha, all who donated and everyone who attended. Your loving generosity and compassion provide the strength we all in this rough time. Blake is lucky to be loved by so many people, and we are lucky to be riding along with him.

More to come when there's more to come, we're just taking it day by day
We would like to thank everyone who has donated to the Blake Wayland Leukemia Fund through this website, and those who participated in the sanctioned fundraisers
